A Kansas City Wedding
I met Brandon + Markie a few years ago when I photographed their proposal in Albany, NY. When they asked me if I would travel Kansas City, Missouri to photograph their wedding I jumped at the chance! I love to travel and was so elated that they thought of me for their wedding. So I hopped on a plane (actually 2) and headed to downtown KC!
We started off the day at the Loews Hotel where Markie was getting ready, and then we did the first look on their beautiful staircase with a crystal chandelier. It is such a beautiful space for photos!
After doing some couples portraits on the staircase, we got the whole wedding party together for photos on the rooftop. The terrace was a great spot for these photos with a view of the downtown skyline and neighboring Kauffman Center. We had a lot of fun doing our posed and candid wedding party portraits here.
Next up, we took the whole gang across the street to the Kauffman Center for even more fun photos! This building is so so cool and beautiful as a backdrop for wedding party and couples portraits.

Last but certainly not least, we headed over to the wedding venue, a cool, industrial space called the Hobbs, located in the historic West Bottoms. The Hobbs has a great outdoor courtyard for the wedding ceremony and an industrial chic vibe inside the building with great lighting. It was the perfect space for Brandon & Markie's wedding, alongside the beautiful decor that made these wedding photos come out so great!
