What is a 'Strangers Session'?
These photo sessions are basically like a couples shoot but with people who have never met before! Think of it like a blind date photoshoot. You'll get some great photos out of it and hopefully have fun getting to know someone new!
How does it work?
If you'd like to be considered as a model/participant in a Stranger Session, you fill out an application with all your info and preferences. Strangers sessions are LGBTQ friendly - open to all genders and preferences! Once enough applications are recieved, I'll select models for each shoot and pair people up based on their preferences. If selected, we'll select a date and location for the shoot. We'll do some standard portrait posing as well as capture candid moments as you both get to know each other!
How much does it cost?
The photo session is FREE! If selected for a stranger session, a $50 refundable deposit is required to hold your spot. The deposit is to ensure that everyone shows up for their photo session and will be refunded right after the session. The deposit cannot be refunded if you don't show up without prior notice.
What are the requirements?
- Each person will receive 10-15 images in an online gallery after the photo session
- Models must be 21 and over
- Models must be located within the Capital Region (Albany/Saratoga NY area)
- Models must be comfortable and open to standard couples posing (think of it as pretending to be a couple!)
- Models must agree to images being used online and on social media for marketing purposes
